great ambiance but minor issues
The modern interior design created a clean and inviting atmosphere. The breakfast selection and the process of ordering was convenient and enjoyable.
The check-in and check-out process, although easy, didn’t have the personal touch I expected.

Stylish stay in a cozy spot
We had an awesome 5 nights here! Super friendly staff, and wow, the breakfast was delish. Really loved the chic decor everywhere and the lounge was perfect for a chill hangout. A nice stroll to the harbor and beach made it easy to explore. Just wish the WIFI was a bit stronger. it was kinda spotty.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the stylish room with a sea view and the delicious breakfast served in bed each morning. The cozy communal lounge was perfect for unwinding after a long day, with plenty of books and games to enjoy. Only downside was a bit of street noise at night, but earplugs fixed that right up. 😊

Amazing views and breakfast!
We had a fab time just chillin' in our stylish room with a killer sea view. Breakfast was on another level, especially for my wife who's gluten-free – super thoughtful! Only thing was the bar area could have been cozier for hanging out. a really relaxing one-night getaway!

we loved absolutely everything about the sandy duck! the decor was stylish and the freestanding bath was such a nice touch. the breakfast was amazing, we wished we stayed longer to try more options! we loved the sea view nook in our room and the friendly staff were super helpful. it was just a quick stroll to the beach and town centre, which was a big plus!
but the nights were a bit noisy outside and we wish the tea options were better. other than that, it was perfect!

Staying at The Sandy Duck was fantastic! The stylish decor caught my eye immediately. The room had a cozy sea view nook perfect for relaxing with a book. Breakfast options blew me away. Fresh fruit and homemade cakes delighted each morning. Daily housekeeping kept everything neat and tidy. Staff members were warm and welcoming, always eager to help. a couple of nights were a bit noisy outside, which disturbed my sleep. I found the tea options somewhat limited. I hoped for more variety, especially for a place this nice. everything else made up for it. I’d definitely recommend it for a lovely getaway!

Breakfast was a total win—those fruit buffets and homemade cakes set the day off right. Plus, our room was a stylish escape with a cozy sea view nook, just brilliant for a quiet read. The staff's friendliness added that extra touch to the experience.
Only tiny criticism was that the towels came back a bit damp from the rack. A bit of a chill for the next day’s shower. Maybe swap damp ones more regularly? But honestly, everything still shined!
